Discussion Forum
Purpose:
The Discussion Forum is a unique feature of the European Research Seminar designed to foster open, collaborative, and thought-provoking exchanges on critical topics in logistics and supply chain management. These sessions provide an opportunity to explore (60-90 min) innovative ideas, tackle pressing challenges, and shape the future direction of research and practice in the field.
What we are looking for:
We invite scholars to propose topics that:Focus on high-relevance issues for the logistics and supply chain community.
Address emerging trends, such as new research streams, innovative methodologies, or interdisciplinary approaches.
Explore novel hypotheses or perspectives that challenge established thinking.
Provide insights into teaching innovations, future research calls, or unique datasets.
Your proposal should inspire curiosity and engagement among participants, encouraging an active and interactive exchange of ideas.
Format Suggestions:
Unlike traditional conference presentations, the Discussion Forum prioritizes interaction and collaboration. Proposed sessions could include:Workshops: Hands-on activities to brainstorm or develop ideas.
Debates: Moderated discussions on controversial or polarizing topics.
Mini-Presentations: Short, provocative presentations followed by an open discussion.
Roundtables: Facilitated conversations among a diverse group of participants.
Feel free to propose a format that best suits your topic while ensuring it maximizes participant involvement.
Proposal Requirements (1-2 pages):
Include a brief topic description, emphasizing its novelty and relevance.
Outline potential learning outcomes for participants and our community.
