  • Purpose:

    • For advanced, near-complete research intended for publication in either the Journal of Business Logistics (JBL) or the International Journal of Logistics Management (IJLM).

  • Process:

    • Authors must specify their preference for publication in either the Journal of Business Logistics (JBL) or the International Journal of Logistics Management (IJLM).

    • Submissions undergo a double-blind review process. The process for JBL will be managed by one of its European Editors, Professors Durach, de Leeuw, Wallenburg. The process for IJLM will be managed by its Editor, Professor Gammelgaard.

  • Presentation Requirement:

    • Authors present their paper at ERS and receive further constructive feedback from conference participants.

  • Submission Process:

    • Submit the full paper via (1) the ERS submission platform (link will open 7th Jan.) AND (2) the relevant journal's submission system (JBL or IJLM), following the respective journal guidelines available on the journal homepages.

    • For both Journals: Clearly state in the journal cover letter that the submission is for ERS 2025.

    • For JBL submissions: Select “Original Article” and then, when asked if the submission is for a special issue, select “ERS Submission - Full Paper”
