Research idea

• Purpose:

  • For innovative, forward-thinking research ideas in the early or mid-stages of development (max. 1,000 words, including Abstract, Tables, Figures, References and Appendices).

• Process:

  • Submit a 2–3 page outline of the research idea.

  • Presenters of accepted submissions will receive feedback at the conference to refine their ideas, focusing on novel perspectives and impactful directions prior to data collection.

• Presentation Requirement:

  • Authors present their research idea at ERS and receive constructive feedback from conference participants. Presentations are expected to be relatively short to allow more time for feedback and discussion.

• Submission Process:

  • Submit the research idea via the ERS submission platform (link will open January 7th) following the JBL style guide available on the journal webpage https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/21581592/homepage/forauthors.html .
